Undying Inc / The Evilution Of A Manimal – Concept Single EP.

The version 2 of the band sees a new approach to their music; evolved, brutal, precise and technical. This release is a step forward in that direction. Showcasing the renewed sound, potential and maturity of a band that has finally come of age and risen above the cliché it sees the band carve out a unique identity for itself. This production is currently aimed as a promotional tool and will also help bridge the gap between the band, fans and promoters worldwide, and satisfy everyone who are looking forward to hearing the new ‘avatar’ of the band. It is a prequel to the full-length album the band is currently working on, which would be released in the later part of 2008. It is also a first of sorts, as the term “concept single EP” is still alien to rock music marketing in India.

The Evilution of a Manimal
This single release features the new tracks Manimal and Evilution. Manimal is straightforward modern thrash metal, with cycling machine like grooves and complex rhythm and drum structures. Evilution takes this concept to another level by a barrage of disjointed rhythm structures that balance precariously between spasmodic head banging and mental breakdowns. The industrial-remixed Animal Inside version of Manimal is an effort to provide the fans a complete package and a little extra something; a bonus and a collector’s bit! Though it might not be played live by the band, it is meant purely for raising awareness about the new & experimental direction the band is taking.

The songs are part of a concept that portrays how mankind is multiplying and slowly eating into the world like a carnivorous breed of sperm like parasites. Aggressive and mechanical, man is relentlessly depleting the earth of resources in the name of progress, sustenance and evolution. The cover art is a conceptual representation of the entire idea.

ALBUM RELEASE UPDATE: PREFACE TO ERASE. The full fledged semi disc / 7 track mini album titled “Preface to Erase” Is ready to hit the scene. After a nu mber of struggles the much awaited and often regarded as one of the most talked about records in the Underground metal circles of today. This piece of brutal and at times unpredictable metal disc is out in its full glory. It is however worth every moment of the excruciating wait of going through a number of production and personal delays. Surely this is a new chapter for the band as well as the metal community. Tough as nails this record will surely grace many a metal head’s collection and gather much attention in all the Metal radio stations. The sound is a mix of Undying Inc’s entire vast list of influences, truly creating a fresh new sound of their own, at times generic it does however deliver the purity of their simple and unique style of punishingly heavy metal songwriting skills.
